The rouble tumbled below 1,000 to the dollar yesterday, trading at a new low of 1,024 roubles per dollar as Moscow's Interbank Currency Exchange switched to daily trading sessions, Reuter reports from Moscow. It was the 18th consecutive session in which the currency had slipped to a new low.
