US embassies in Asia warned US citizens yesterday to be alert for 'terrorist or mob action' following President Bill Clinton's meeting with Salman Rushdie, Reuter reports from Islamabad. The embassy in Islamabad told its citizens to be as inconspicuous as possible in Pakistan.
