An Iranian accused of raping six Japanese tourists after terrorising them with a Samurai sword went on trial yesterday, Reuter reports from Rome. Shakeri Kavaki was arrested last February when six women, all aged 19, identified him as the man who raped them one by one after terrifying them by wielding a razor-sharp sword.
