Aid flights to Sarajevo were halted after a United Nations aircraft which was carrying Germany's ambassador to Bosnia came under small- arms fire earlier in the day, Reuter reports from Sarajevo.

The airport stayed open to military flights for the UN Protection Force. The plane was hit in the tail by three rounds from an unknown position as it landed.
