Shuttle launch aborted

Onboard computers aborted the launch of the US space shuttle Discovery yesterday, three seconds before lift-off, Reuter reports from Cape Canaveral. It was the fourth time this year that a shuttle launch was halted less than 20 seconds before take-off, and the second time since March and that it occurred in the final three seconds.
