Fred Sinowatz, the former Austrian chancellor, and his foreign and interior ministers were found not guilty yesterday of charges of abusing their office and endangering Austrian neutrality in an arms-to-Iran trial, Reuter reports from Vienna.
Mr Sinowatz and Leopold Gratz were cleared on all counts but Karl Blecha, the former interior minister, was found guilty on charges of ordering tampering with files related to the case and given a suspended nine-month jail sentence.
