Otto Remer, a former Nazi lieutenant-general and security chief of Adolf Hitler's general barracks, was arrested on a German extradition order at Malaga airport in southern Spain, Reuter reports from Madrid. The 81-year-old former SS officer had been sentenced to 22 months prison in Germany for inciting racial hatred but left Germany before he was due to begin serving his term two months ago.
