A court yesterday lifted tough limits on the freedom of movement of the former East German spymaster, Markus Wolf, on trial for Cold War espionage against Bonn, Reuter reports from Dusseldorf. The court freed Mr Wolf from conditions that barred him from leaving his home district in central Berlin without permission.
