Copenhagen - An okapi, a rare mammal related to the giraffe, died from stress apparently triggered by the sound of opera singers rehearsing near by. The creature in Copenhagen Zoo started hyperventilating, went into shock and collapsed when performers at the Royal Theatre began singing selections from Wagner's Tannhauser in a park 300 metres away.
