Ten tourists killed in Madeira plane crash
A light aircrafthas crashed off the Portuguese island of Madeira. killing all 10 people aboard. The twin-engine Beechcraft 200 plunged into the Atlantic on Thursday morning after taking off from Funchal airport on Madeira, bound for Malaga, Spain.
The dead included the British pilot and nine Spanish holidaymakers, including three children, a Spanish embassy spokesman said. Rescue teams have found wreckage off the coast of Madeira, and recovered a woman's body. The cause of the crash is not known.
