Thais 'helped Khmer Rouge'
AUnited Nations investigation into the capture by Cambodia's Khmer Rouge of a northern border checkpoint has backed charges of Thai involvement with the guerrillas, despite top-level denials from Bangkok, Reuter reports from Phnom Penh. The UN said on Monday that the guerrillas detained 21 of its peace-keepers at gunpoint on Thai territory and in the presence of uniformed Thai personnel during Sunday's attack.
