Hamburg (AFP) - A German policeman shot dead the religious affairs attache of the Turkish consulate after the diplomat allegedly killed a German outside a Hamburg nightclub. Police said the officer who shot Ali Mangaoglu, 41, acted in self-defence after the diplomat pointed a gun at him. But the Turkish ambassador, Onur Oymen, said his official must have been attacked.
