LUANDA - Fighting erupted between Unita rebels and government forces in the devastated Angolan city of Cuito, forcing the evacuation of Western aid workers, Reuter reports.
The evacuated foreigners included nine British nurses sent by the Overseas Development Agency, several French workers for Medecins Sans Frontieres and a handful of officials working for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
