WARSAW (Reuter) - The Polish government signed an ambitious reform pact with trade unions yesterday which it hopes will help to overcome two of the most awkward legacies of the 1989 revolution. The Enterprise Pact aims to privatise cumbersome, debt-ridden state industries and at the same time minimalise strikes by engaging their workers in the reform process.
