Atransatlantic war of nerves over farm exports, which threatens to derail world trade reform, intensified yesterday when the United States told the European Community to solve the problem itself, Reuter reports from Brussels. The US Trade Representative, Mickey Kantor, flew home to Washington declaring that his stance on the farm agreement was unchanged after talks on Thursday night with the French Trade and Industry Minister, Gerard Longuet.
