An avalanche at a French ski resort has been captured on camera.
The dramatic footage shows skiers riding a chair lift suspended in mid-air, watching in horror as large quantities of snow rolls in below them.
Nobody was hurt, although the avalanche destroyed the chair lift and emergency services were brought in to rescue stranded skiers.
