BISSAU - Guinea-Bissau's opposition presidential candidate, Kumba Yala, contested provisional election results which show the head of state, Joao Bernardo Vieira, winner by a narrow margin.
Mr Yala said independent calculations showed he had defeated President Vieira in the 3 August election by fewer than 1,000 votes. Reuter
