ROME (Reuter) - Italian judges have promised a 'week of fire' ahead in the country's fast-growing bribery scandal. After a weekend that saw a former cabinet minister, Paolo Cirino Pomicino, and a clutch of top industrialists under investigation in corruption inquiries, judicial sources said much more was to come, targeting the business rather than political community. The coalition government of Giuliano Amato has so far weathered the storm but three ministers are under a cloud and further revelations could make Mr Amato's position untenable.
