A Russian court ruled yesterday that election procedure had been violated in the constituency from which the ultra-nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky was elected to parliament and said the 12 December poll was invalid, Reuter reports from Moscow. The Shchelkovo district court's finding can be appealed against within 10 days.
