SOFIA (Reuter) - Bulgaria's Communist former leader, Todor Zhivkov, was charged with diverting state funds to provide military assistance to Third World terrorist movements. Since February 1991 Mr Zhivkov has been charged in separate trials with financial corruption, discrimination against ethnic Turks, setting up Soviet-style labour camps and ruining Bulgaria's economy.
