The Vatican condemned the second death under Australia's world- first euthanasia law as a revolt against God and urged opponents to campaign harder against the threatened "contagion" of assisted suicide.
"To decide one's own death and obtain it, even with recourse to the law and medical assistance, is an act of revolt against God, author of life, and a crime against life," moral theologian Gino Concetti wrote in the newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. Reuters - Rome
