Ex-UN chief to testify at Andreotti trial

Rome - The former UN secretary-general, Javier Perez de Cuellar, will testify on behalf of former Italian prime minister Giulio Andreotti when the latter begins his trial on alleged Mafia links. The veteran politician will also have the support of former German foreign minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher. AFP
