Farewell to Harriman
President Bill Clinton bade farewell to Pamela Harriman, former United States ambassador to France with the words of Winston Churchill, calling her an American who "felt to her bones" her adopted country's greatness.
The funeral for Mrs Harriman, who died last week after a stroke following an exercise session at the Ritz hotel in Paris, was held at Washington's National Cathedral. AP - Washington
