Eight New York City police injured in a brawl last month at a Harlem mosque have sued the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, and others for nearly dollars 1.2bn (pounds 800m), Reuter reports. The lawsuit alleges they 'conspired together' to injure the police, who were 'assaulted, beaten, menaced and severely injured' when they responded to a fake robbery call at the mosque.
