Fiji could return to the Commonwealth if it changes its racially biased constitution, said the organisation's Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, AP reports from Canberra. Fiji was expelled from the Commonwealth after two coups in 1987 in which the Fijian army overthrew an ethnic Indian-dominated government. The new constitution guarantees Fijian political dominance over Indians.
