Mariel, Cuba - About 500 Cubans hoping to go to the US occupied an oil tanker in the port of Mariel, prompting President Fidel Castro to visit the tense dock west of Havana. Authorities were not letting the vessel, the Maltese-flagged Jussara, leave the port and special measures had been taken to ensure it did not move, the Interior Ministry said. Reuter
