Flights resume
New Delhi - Flights between India and the Gulf were due to resume yesterday and Thailand began re-issuing visas to Indians as the pneumonic plague abated. But Japan introduced unprecedented quarantine checks on passengers and cargo from India. Three more plague-related deaths were reported in the western city of Surat, the centre of the outbreak, but health officials reiterated that the epidemic was under control. Agencies
