Seasonal floods triggered by monsoon gales in Malaysia killed more than 20 people and forced 20,000 out of their homes, AFP reports from Kuala Lumpur. The north-eastern state of Kelantan was the worst hit, with at least 11 people killed and more than 14,000 evacuated.
