Afghan factions fighting to topple President Burhanuddin Rabbani allowed half of a UN food convoy into Kabul yesterday after holding it up for four days,

Reuter reports from Peshawar, Pakistan. The Hizbe Islami party allowed three of six trucks carrying flour into Rabbani-controlled areas in response to an appeal from the UN.
