Forest fire rages through Cyprus

Kyrenia - A huge forest fire raging through northern Cyprus swept past the holiday resort of Kyrenia, destroying houses on the outskirts but leaving the town largely intact. Nine people, including two firefighters, were slightly injured elsewhere on the island. The blaze turned 27 sq miles of forest and farmland to ash.
