Atoys-for-guns exchange programme in a high-crime section of New York has netted 1,502 weapons and will move next week to a Brooklyn neighbourhood with the highest murder rate in town, Reuter reports from New York. Officials said the two-week programme, offering dollars 100 ( pounds 67) worth of goods ranging from toys to mattresses, has been spectacularly successful.
