Russia's parliamentary speaker, Ruslan Khasbulatov, launched an astonishing attack on Margaret Thatcher, calling her an 'old bag' for saying parliament should be dissolved to end Russia's political crisis, Reuter reports from Moscow.

Mr Khasbulatov, speaking in a televised interview, said Mrs Thatcher's comments were humiliating for Russia and its people.
