Nablus (AP) - About 32,000 Palestinians, 60 per cent of whom have served time in Israeli prisons, have applied for jobs in a new Palestinian police force. The applicants, who were mostly men, signed up at 39 offices in the West Bank and Gaza strip during a 10-day registration drive that ended yesterday.
