General Motors strikes deal to end strike

Dayton, Ohio - General Motors Corp and the United Auto Workers Union reached a tentative agreement yesterday to end a strike that crippled the car-maker's production, the union said. The strike had closed 26 of GM's 29 assembly plants. AP
