Three men on motorbikes threw a grenade into a Pakistan mosque and opened fire on the congregation, killing five people and injuring 40, the official APP news agency said, Reuter reports from Islamabad.
The mosque, in the eastern city of Bahawalpur, was crowded with minority Shia worshippers marking the Eid al-Fitr festival at the end of Ramadan.
