Gunmen shot and seriously wounded a popular Algerian playwright and actor in the western city of Oran, the official Algerian news agency reported yesterday, Reuter reports from Paris. Abdelkader Alloula, 55, was shot in the head by unidentified gunmen on Thursday night as he left his home for a meeting, the news agency reported.
