A publisher and aide to Haiti's ousted president, Jean- Bertrand Aristide, has been officially named as prime minister as part of a transition to democracy, AFP reports from Port-au-Prince. Robert Malval, 50, was nominated after weeks of battling among Aristide supporters and opponents in the senate, according to the leader of the Chamber of Deputies, Antoine Joseph.
