Hazardous crayons

Millions of imported Chinese crayons have such high lead levels that they are potentially harmful to children, AP reports from Washington.

The crayons should be thrown away or returned for refunds, the US government said. Three brands of the crayons, including one sold by the US retailer Toys 'R Us, pose 'a lead poisoning hazard to young children who might eat or chew on these crayons,' the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
