BETHLEHEM (AP) - With peace talks under way in Washington, Mayor Elias Freij says he is willing to decorate Bethlehem with holiday lights if Israel releases 1,000 Palestinian prisoners. For the past five years, Palestinians have forbidden all lights and pageantry at Christmas, saying it was inconsistent with their revolt against Israeli occupation.
