Horses `expertly' killed in attack
EIGHT HORSES were stabbed to death in stables near the north German town of Schwerin in the worst of a spate of attacks on animals in the region, police said yesterday.
The animals were "expertly" killed in their stalls and in a field by stab wounds to their hearts or vital arteries.
