Somali gunmen attacked United Nations forces in Mogadishu and a US helicopter then shot dead seven of them, Reuter reports from Mogadishu. Gunmen fired on the Cobra attack helicopter from the back of an open truck and the helicopter fired back, killing the seven gunmen.
