World Classic Bodybuilding Championships took place in St Polten, Austria, this weekend, as well as the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation World Championships in Budaors, Hungary.

The toned competitors went through months of a strict protein-diet and rigorous training of weight-lifting, but there's something else they do before showing off their big muscles and bloated veins.

Just before the competition, the muscly participants from across the world were desperately coating themselves with fake tan, using DIY paint rollers to apply the stuff to those difficult to reach parts.

The orange-coloured competitors were from Iran, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Germany and Japan.
