Passengers feared drowned in a ferry disaster in north India's Bihar state yesterday were all rescued, senior officials said, Reuter reports from Patna. Domestic news agencies initially reported that at least 150 people were feared drowned in the accident on the river Ganges near Patna. But a reporter who visited Sabalpur Diara village where the ferry capsized said that the passengers were rescued by local fishermen.
