Iranian warplanes struck at two bases run by exile Mujahedin Khalq guerrillas in Iraq yesterday and Baghdad warned Tehran of grave consequences, Reuter reports from Jalula, Iraq.

The air raids, the first for more than a year, did little damage and resulted in no casualties. Reporters were taken to the two bases and a Mujahedin spokesman described the attacks as 'total failure'.
