Baghdad (Reuter) - The Deputy Prime Minister, Tariq Aziz, said Iraq was prepared to pay war reparations and cover costs of UN inspection teams supervising the destruction of Iraqi weapon systems.

Iraq 'has not objected to the Security Council's resolution to deduct a high percentage . . . for the so-called reparations fund and UN costs,' he said.
