Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has forbidden all military officers to leave the country, Reuter reprts from London. A London-based opposition group, the Iraqi National Congress, said the secret directive applied to retired and active duty military officers.

The statement added that Saddam had ordered the executions of six prominent Iraqis since two Iraqi ambassadors defected to Britain last week.
