Israeli charges
Israel's attorney general announced yesterday he had decided to charge the Interior Minister, Aryeh Deri, with bribery and fraud, Reuter reports from Jerusalem. The Justice Ministry did not specify who else would be indicted. It said Mr Deri, from the ultra-religious Shas party, had three weeks to show sufficient cause why he should not be charged.
