Jordan hanged two of its citizens convicted of spying for Israel, AP reports from Amman. The hangings were carried out before dawn on Saturday at Suwaqa Prison, 100km (60 miles) south of Amman, according to newspaper reports. Security officials declined to fully identify the men. Israel's foreign and defence ministries denied any knowledge of the two.
