Judge arrested
Police have arrested a Sicilian judge accused of getting the Mafia to shoot a professor who repeatedly failed one of his family in university examinations, Reuter reports from Rome. Giuseppe Recupero faces charges of wounding after Mafia pentiti alleged he ordered the 'kneecapping' of Antonio Pernice, a genetics professor, three years ago.
