The widow of Albania's late Stalinist dictator, Enver Hoxha, said that war in the former Yugoslavia proved her husband had been right to try to erase religion, Reuter reports from Rome.
'Enver wanted Muslims, Catholics and members of the Orthodox Church to live together. They were all to become simply Albanians,' Nexhmije Hoxha told the Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
